In the Beginning Was the Word

In the beginning was the Word
And the Word was with God
And the Word was God:

(the following is an inset)
"To create is to put something of ourselves into our
creation. It implies self-revelation, making
known our inner being.. It is in this sense that
we can speak of God wanting to be known,
wanting to speak, to say a word about the
divine. To know creation is to know something
of the taste and smell and sound and feel of God.
It is to catch God's word, to hear the voice of
the divine."

And the Word was made flesh
and dwelt amongst us.
And we saw his glory.

- John 1:1,14
- Inset, Fran Ferder, OSF
